Per massimizzare lo spazio di stoccaggio, la pianta segue fedelmente la planimetria dell'area, mentre la sezione si articola attraverso l'utilizzo di un'unica grande campata metallica di 40 mt, impostata su plinti in calcestruzzo, così da lasciare libero il più possibile lo spazio a terra. Le nervature metalliche, dove le dimensioni del lotto lo consentono, si ampliano e si sdoppiano per scendere fino a terra a formare, in progressione, campate da 65 e da 80 mt, oppure escono a sbalzo a formare l'ampia pensilina esterna. All'interno il ritmo è scandito dalle campate metalliche che si ripetono ogni 15 mt, e dalle fasce di luce zenitale - lucernari continui in asse con le campate - che, smaterializzandole ne alleggeriscono l'effetto complessivo. La facciata, nell'alternanza di fasce trasparenti ed opaline, consente all'operaio la vista delle montagne all'orizzonte.

To maximize the storage area the layout has accurately followed the area location plan, while the annex is composed of a single 40m big metal span placed on concrete plinths, so as to leave as much space as possible from the ground. The metal ribs, where the lot dimensions allowed for this, become larger and before reaching the ground divide into two, thereby creating progressively spans of 65m and 80 m, or they jut out to form the wide outer cantilever roof.
Inside, the flow is interrupted by metal spans recurring every 15 metres and zenithal light – a continuous row of skylights in line with the spans dematerializing them and giving the structure its lightness. The façade with its alternating opal and clear glass windows enables the workers to enjoy the view of the mountains on the horizon.
